and require a high data rate. Transmission distances exceeding 10 m / 32 ft. are therefore often filled with problems! With the new HDMI ® -over-FIBER system from CARDINAL-DVM these signals, including RS232 and infrared information, can be transmitted with no hassle over distances of up to 300 m / 984 ft. using a single OM3 multimode line.

For this purpose we offer the robust and compact housing (known from the DVM-120 series) in two variants ex warehouse:
• a stand-alone housing measuring 68 x 36 x 145 mm / 2.7 x 1.4 x 5.7”
• an assembly housing to mount into a SYSBOXX frame or SYSPANEL 5XL

The connectors for the power supply, HDMI ® as well as IR/RS232 are robust HICON all-metal versions and thus perfectly suitable for the tough usage “on the road”.

For the reliable connection of the fiber-optical cable we offer a model version with HICON-FIBER4 and another version with NEUTRIK OpticalCON DUO panel-mount 
socket.
