Better safe than sorry...
We supply a high-quality 4 twisted pair CAT version with short lay length and a durable FRNC jacket. The difference between CAT.6A cable and CAT.5e is the higher transmission frequency of 500 MHz (EN 50173-1, EN 50288-5-1, IEC 61156-5, ISO / IEC 11801-2ed., TIA / EIA 568- B.2-10 Draft 5.0), which is achieved by a special insulation of the opposite wire pairs. The SC-Mercator CAT.6a CPR version is designed for 10 Gbit (10GBASE-T) and backwards compatible for all existing network protocols (10/100/1000 Mbit). Thus, the SC-Mercator CAT.6a CPR version can also be used for CAT.5 (100 MHz), CAT.5e (250 MHz) and CAT.6 (350 MHz) transmissions. For mobile CAT.6 and CAT.6A applications we recommend our SC-MERCATOR CAT.7 PUR.
Advantages:
Short lay length and high quality insulation
High life expectancy due to high quality LSZH coat
Application:
Connection of computers and media equipment in 10/100/1000 Mbit and 10 Gbit network standard
